MA15+ and R18

Rich Text

Below are the regulations regarding MA15+ and R18 restrictions. Everyone who appears to be approximately 25 and under is checked for ID when attending an MA15+ or R18 film.

MA15+

IF YOU’RE UNDER 15,

Children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. You need to come in with someone over the age of 18 and they must have photo ID. They will need to stay with you throughout the entire film. If they leave, you will need to as well.

IF YOU’RE OVER 15,

You and anyone else you are with will need valid photo ID with your name, photo, and date of birth on it. We cannot accept vaccination certificates or birth certificates as they do not have your photo on it. Everyone in your group needs to have ID.

If you do not have valid photo ID, we cannot let you see the film and will not sell you a ticket. If you do not have photo ID, you must be accompanied by someone over the age of 18 who has valid ID and they must not leave you unaccompanied.

R18

 IF YOU’RE UNDER 18,

Unfortunately, we legally cannot let you attend, even if you are with a parent or guardian over the age of 18. This includes infants and toddlers.

IF YOU’RE 18 AND OVER,

Please make sure you have your ID ready. Your ID must be a valid photo ID with both an image of you and your date of birth on it. We legally must ID people who look under the age of 25. Unfortunately, you cannot act as a guardian to allow someone under the age of 18 in.

These are not our rules but are legal requirements we must adhere to as written in the Classifications (Publications, Films and Computer Games) Enforcement Act 1995 No 63.
